Prime Guard SAE 15W-40 Heavy Duty Engine Oil is specifically engineered for heavy duty diesel and gasoline engines operating under most service conditions. It contains a unique blend of detergents, dispersants, antioxidants, friction modifiers and viscosity improvers to provide superior performance and protection.

this is recommended and used in all models of Waltver Vdrives used in Malibu/Axis models boats with an Indmar powertrain. see below for reference.

Indmar V: 

    Use ATF front (shifting portion) 872020 & this 50W synthetic in the V-drive.

ZF Transmissions:

     Use this ATF for both the Vdrive and Transmission. 

Walter Vdrive:

     Will not use this and all previous SAE 30 weight will supersede and require 15W-40
